PADI Emergency
First Response CPR/First Aid Instructor Training Malaysia
Emergency First Response Instructor Course is an extended 2-day
course. As an EFR Instructor you may provide interested individuals with the
training necessary in EFR Primary Care (CPR), EFR Secondary Care (First Aid)
and Care for Children courses (including optional recommended skills, AED
and emergency oxygen.) This course builds on your skills as primary and
secondary care providers and focuses on developing your instructional
abilities. Through independent study, classroom sessions and practice
teaching assignments you will learn to organize, conduct, market and promote
the EFR programs. The class emphasizes hands-on skill practice and
demonstrations and builds self-confidence
Entry Requirements:
Effective
1 July 2005 to enroll in an EFR Instructor Course, an individual must
Have
completed the EFR(CPR) course within the past 24 months
Have
completed the EFR(First Aid) course within the past 24 months
Have
completed the EFR Care for Children course within the past 24 months.
Note:
Practicing medical professionals (e.g. paramedics, EMT's, nurses and
doctors) are not required to have completed the Emergency Fist Response
Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children
courses. Although participating in these provider level courses is
beneficial, it isn't required since professional medical training serves as
an equivalent.
